the home edit | DIYs to do

Ok, #realtalk time. If we’re being totally honest, halfway through any DIY project I’m usually like “eh, I’m no pro and could probably just go buy this somewhere instead.”

…But that never ends up happening either, SO – I’m forcing myself to complete some home DIYs this summer. Yay for finished projects! Here are a few that give me all the happy home vibes. Take a peek:

woven leather stool

The best part about this woven stool DIY? It looks nothing at all like a DIY project! Seriously, how gorgeous is that cognac color?

moroccan pom blanket

Moroccan rugs are major decor eye candy, but a blanket takes it even one step further. I love my pretty decor with an extra side of cozy 😉

hairpin leg lap desk

Besides having gorgeous hairpin legs, this lap desk makes me think Fifth Harmony’s “Work From Home” every. single. time. (Because this would make working from home all the more lovely, don’t you think?)

yarn macrame wall hanging

Just recently did I fall in love with the idea of learning macrame – it’s such a sweet little statement piece, and this particular DIY project looks super manageable for a first-timer.
